In a Society Where More Equals Better

AsmaUncategorized

In a society where being ‘hard-working’ is badge of honour, we also need to be able to recognize and discern what is truly best for our health each day.

I work with many people who exercise a lot. This is great as exercise is very important for physical and mental health however, one of the conversations we as Fitness Professionals need to start normalizing, is the importance of honouring our bodies boundaries.

Knowing when a rest day, a nap, a gentle stretch will serve you BETTER than a workout.

Also, in a society where “more = better” we get to start normalizing that ‘more’ is not always better and ‘more’ usually costs us something.

More workouts, more work, more clients, more emails sent out, more projects, all cost us more energy.

This energy is precious. It is our everything. It is our life.

We get to normalize honouring our bodies and honouring our boundaries to restore our energetic capacity.

Take a nap, or do something nourishing and restorative…and once you do… you also want to be aware of the self-talk that will take place.

You get to:

Dismantle the conditioning that you now have double the energy for tomorrow’s workout. ⠀

Dismantle the urge to subtlety restrict calories. ⠀

Dismantle the conditioning that triggers any guilt. ⠀

Dismantle the self-sabotage conditioning that says you fell off the bandwagon, might as well binge out. ⠀

Dismantle ALL of it until you’re in an epsom salt bath the next day, FULLY revelling in restoring and nurturing your precious energy body!

What other conditioning have you dismantled? ⠀

If you are tired of trying to figure it all out alone, and ready to start serving the HIGHEST version of yourself, please reach out with an email, or book a free call here

Best of luck!
