Exciting news to share on how to make your own Almond Milk in 3 minutes!
As we know, dairy isn’t the greatest for our bodies. More and more people have switched over to non-dairy milks. I, myself, enjoy almond milk however, what a process to make your own almond milk from raw almonds, with soaking the almonds, then straining, the pulp, etc. Here is a brilliant way I first heard about on Erin Ireland’s Instagram stories. It is how to make Almond Milk using Almond Butter. It’s SO EASY. There’s 2 ingredients.
This recipe says 1 tablespoon Almond Butter per cup of water. This recipe says 3 tablespoons Almond Butter and 1.5 cups of water. I’ve done both ways, and like the 3 tbsp AB/1.5 cups water. It just depends how you like it. All you have to do is put both ingredients in the blender and blend for a couple minutes.
I also added a dash of vanilla. You can also add a dash of salt, and a dash maple syrup for sweetness. The colour isn’t pure white because Almond Butter is the full Almond grounded up (including the skin) so just know not to expect a pure white milk.
Such a great way to eliminate all those additives from store bought almond milk.
Give it a shot, and let me know if you added anything else to make it even more delicious.
