Another one of the ‘Big 3’ Core Exercises!

If you read our last post, you know that “super stiffness” is a concept put forward by Dr. Stuart McGill (world renowned spine expert) that encourages a strong Mid-Section. From Power lifters to new moms, the Big 3 exercises are what Dr. Stuart McGill highly encourages to avoiding injury, for proper mechanics, re-training faulty habits that naturally develop, and to allow you to keep your back strong no matter what activities your doing. 

Give the ‘Curl-up’ a shot. I’m always surprised at how many ‘fitness freaks’ have a hard time doing this exercise. It really has nothing to do with how flat your stomach is, rather it has to do with internal core muscles that support your spine!
